Pisces is a subtle sign. Many people who have significant planets in Pisces are shy and self-effacing. One way to look at the signs of the zodiac is that they each provide ways of exploring the self through a series of activities and interests. The 12th sign is Pisces. It provides the opportunity to transcend the self in order to be able to connect with the Divine. This month there will be six planets, including the Moon, transiting through Pisces at some point. This provides a great opportunity for all of us to look beyond our normal ego-istic perspective and see life from the biggest picture possible.
Consciousness is a concept that can be hard to describe and hard to deal with. It has no physical properties and yet it includes anything that pertains to the physical plane. It has no limits or boundaries. There is always more. The transcendent perspective that Pisces provides can enable us to look beyond anything that has linear or logical parameters and eventually connect with the Oneness as Light, Love, and Being. Unless one has been seeking that connection for decades if not lifetimes, it’s unlikely to happen in a month, regardless of how many planets are transiting Pisces at this time. Major progress can be made, however, especially because one of those five planets is Neptune, the planet said to ‘co-rule’ Pisces and is therefore quite powerful in its influence at this time.
We can take advantage of this opportunity by doing things that take us out of a daily, routine. Spend quality time alone in a way and in a place that allow for quiet contemplation. This could take the form of walks in nature, mediation, practicing a form of yoga or engaging in creative expression of any kind. Pisces is compassionate by nature. If you feel drawn to expressing compassion through volunteer service or simply random acts of kindness, do so. Any of these activities can provide opportunities for transcending awareness.
Pisces is also extremely sensitive, both in terms of one’s own emotional experience as well as being aware of other people’s emotional and psychological states. Often that can prove confusing in that it can be challenging to figure out what’s yours and what isn’t. Alone time provides an opportunity to feel where you stop and others begin. That sensitivity can also be present in personal relationships as Pisces is a very romantic sign. The good news is that Pisces brings devotion and unconditional love to a partner. But Pisces may also confuse love with pity, basing the relationship on serving the emotional needs of a damaged partner. They could also get so carried away with the ideal of love that they wind up feeing drained, used and disillusioned.
Illusion is a good word for us to contemplate at this time. It can lead to confusing fact with fantasy, relating to a world that exists only in one’s own mind. But it can also suggest ability and drive to see beyond the illusion of the material plane and connect to states of consciousness usually perceived only in dreams or in states of profound meditation. This could also include becoming aware of, perhaps even in touch with, beings who have passed to the ‘other side”. This is another way that Pisces can help transcend the illusions we have about reality. Life is a continuum. Sometimes we are in a body, sometimes we are not. In any state, we have the opportunity to develop our consciousness so that eventually we perceive reality as a totality or oneness in which everything and every being is connected to each other and to Source. From that perspective we know that we are always home, and always loved. This month provides a rare and remarkable opportunity to make major progress in developing that consciousness.

Aries (March 21-April 20)
Aries: This can be a challenging month for you. Your tendency is to be active doing things you enjoy. This month you could be confused about what you want to do or what brings enjoyment. You could also start doing something and realize that you’re not sure of how to get it done. If you enjoy being by yourself, now is a good time to do so. Spend time being creatively expressive.
Taurus (April 21-May 21)
Taurus: This is a good time to be with friends. Being part of a group meditation, getting involved in a psychological support group or working with others to provide caring support for the needy can all lead to feelings of satisfaction. One note of caution, however. Don’t allow feelings of loyalty or caring for others to blind you to seeing their blind spots or limitations. Others could take advantage of you at this time.
Gemini (May 22-June 21)
Gemini: Communication can be challenging this month. You could have a hard time finding words that accurately convey your ideas. You could suffer from fuzzy thinking. You may find yourself bending the truth rather than just speaking the truth. This is a good time to write. Journaling about your day or your feelings or your dreams are good things. Creative writing could thrive.
Cancer (June 22-July 22)
Cancer: This is a good time to become comfortable sharing your feelings with others. The new Moon in Aquarius on the 9th can provide an objectivity and clarity about what you feel and a detachment from how others respond. The full Moon in Virgo on the 25th brings an analytical quality that can help you to understand why you feel as you do in many situations.
Leo (July 23-August 23)
Leo: The word for you this month is relationship. Tuning deeply into your partner can enable you to relate to them with thoughtfulness and devotion. Prioritizing service can lead to expansion of romance. Growth comes from not seeking others to provide you with feedback that validates who you are. Now is the time for you to be there for them.
Virgo (August 24-Sept 22)
Virgo: The full Moon in Virgo on the 25th provides an opportunity to become more intuitively aware of others and what’s going on within them. You could be called on to be a source of grounding for others. Growth comes from not insisting that you have a logical explanation for your actions. Intuitive wisdom could be enough.
Libra (Sept 23-Oct 23)
Libra: This isn’t a particularly warm and fuzzy time for you. Relationships could feel limited or your fulfillment in them restricted. But it is a good time to talk to your friends and partners, getting clear about where everyone is. You could also spend time being creatively artistic. Fulfillment and productivity could exist in that arena.
Scorpio (Oct 24-Nov 22)
Scorpio: Over the past four months you could feel as if you ran into a wall or that you are being more productive than you have been in a while. Either pattern could change around mid-month. If the former has been your experience, review your intentions and actions to make that they are realistic. If your experience is the latter, you feel things slowing down somewhat. Your review could center on how to be even more effective.
Sagittarius (Nov 23-Dec 21)
Sagittarius: All this Pisces energy this month could be creating a great deal of confusion for you. You could experience too much information coming in and not enough clarity about what to do with it. This is a good time to realize the limit of what you can take in and the boundaries about what you can or want to do.
Capricorn (Dec 22-Jan 20)
Capricorn: If you’ve been thinking about starting psychotherapy or meditation, or joining a 12-step group this is a good time to do so. The holidays may have opened some old emotional wounds and the energy is available to start the healing process. The more vulnerable you feel, the more progress can be made.
Aquarius (Jan 21 to Feb 19)
Aquarius: This could be an enjoyable, even exciting month of social activities for you. The lines of communication with others are wide open. They could lead to anything from an inspirational random conversation to a meaningful reconnection with a relative or old friend. It probably won’t be long lasting or deep, so pay attention and take advantage of it when it shows up.
Pisces (Feb 20-March 20)
Pisces: Here it is, your month! Take advantage of it by not getting too extreme in any area of activity. Growth can come by avoiding being too idealistic, too compassionate, too reclusive, too spaced out. Strive to integrate your activities in all areas and in all realms. Just remember to believe what you see and have faith in what you know. Your wisdom is strong and clear at this time.
